I
INDIVIDUALITY/WARRIOR II Pose (Virabhadrasana II)
ISHA GIRLS are "bold, beautiful, confident and tuff"...their confidence lies in God and they are "SHINERS". They identify their strengths and unique talents and spend time developing both so they can enlighten and uplift others with their gifts.

S
SERVE others & SPREAD "Aloha"/HEART
ISHA GIRLS know "to find one's life, they must lose it". With "aloha" (LOVE) in their hearts they serve. This humbles them, broadens their perspective and increases their compassion while decreasing judgement, fear and selfishness.

H
HIPPYISH/PLANT
ISHA GIRLS have a "go green" mentality in how they live their lives. They respect their bodies (exercise, eat right and get rest) and their Earth (reduce, reuse and recycle).

A
ACQUIRE further light & knowledge/OWL
ISHA GIRLS never stop learning. They are invigorated by obtaining new knowledge, broadening their scope and improving their minds through both temporal and spiritual study.

Samadhi Loves You - Kirtan

For the last couple of years I have had the privilege of singing kirtan with "Samadhi Loves You".  I always say that we are a "walking joke" because all four of us were raised in different religions and worship in different faiths...like "Did you ever hear the one about the Mormon, the Muslum, the Buddist...?!"

Kirtan is sanskrit for "praise or eulogy" and involves chanting hymns or mantras in a call and response style.  It is accompanied by instruments such as the harmonium, tables, drums, hand cymbals and rhythm shakers.

Kirtan helps clear and align the chakras, unifies the group, lifts the mood and helps put you on your path to "Samadhi" hence the name of our group.

"Samadhi" means to "acquire integration or wholeness, or truth...a state of total equilibrium of a detached intellect...total control and bliss".

Through this group, I have had the opportunity to interact with incredibly musically talented individuals who; can play multiple interments, recite sanskrit like it's their native tongue and make up singing parts on the fly.  I am learning little by little and am just happy I get to bang on my little drum and have created a couple new songs of my own.

We have sung at various yoga studios and yoga conferences and are available to book-just email me.
